A Warning

In case you missed it...

In Dec 2018, the Assistance and Access Bill became law in Australia. This bill gives the Australian Government the power to compel any Australian technology provider (individuals as well as companies) to secretly perform surveillance, hand over private data or install backdoors in the software or devices they build or maintain. If served with an assistance order, Australian citizens have no choice but to comply or face 10 years jail. Speak up and face 10 years jail.

Assistance Orders issued under the Assistance and Access Bill can be issued on behalf of foreign governments and they can be issued to Australians working for foreign companies.

Please share. Tell the world about the #AABill.
